During these past few months of my life I been able to find myself. Though I have been absent from blogger & I'm sorry for keeping my followers waiting :*( but I found my post to be somewhat superficial. I do enjoy makeup, fashion all that is still my interest, but there is so much more to me then what I bought from Mac or any other cosmetic or clothing store. I mean really who gives a shit. Of course I will from time to time post about girlie things because I am a girl but I'm also a woman with so much more so express. Why be like every other chick that blogs only about makeup. Not that I'm saying there is anything wrong with it, I do still follow blogs like that. Anyway enough said this is my blog new and improve and true to the bitch I'm really am. Whats is IN and What is OUT (for me fall 2009)

WHAT IS IN

1. EYELINER cateye look all the way how I miss you over the summer.
2. BOOTS looking for a new pair of high boots colors black and grey maybe even red so sexy.
3. SMOKEY EYESHADOW I don't care if its not in style anymore love the way it makes my eyes look I get mucho compliments.
4. HAIR EXTENSIONS not looking for long locks I just want a long bob cut I cut my hair in layers a few months back and shit still ain't long enough for the look I want so hair extensions to the rescue.
5. DARK HAIR COLOR back to beautiful dark browns and reds thinking of going soft black something about that color always draws me back (even though its a pain to go light again please note) I find dark hair to be more sexy then blonde's my personal opinion of course.
6. BIKER JACKET is a must have this season you must have seen it all over the stores rather plaid or leather you can just dress it up with an nice pencil shirt for work then at night with a pair of leggings and hooker boots.
7. FULL MAKEUP no more hot summer days so now we can finally play with all my makeup.

WHAT IS OUT

1. SANDALS say bye bye to all your summer shoes no really ladies please don't wear them in the fall kind of tacky (expect for you west coast bitches so lucky)
2. SUMMER DRESSES only expect able if pair with a sweater and over 68 degrees.
3. LIGHT COLOR EYE SHADOWS just don't like it in the cold months time to play up dark colors like plums and sapphire blue.
4. BODY MIST time to find yourself a nice smelling perfume in the summer its just to strong.
5. LIGHT MOISTURIZER looking for a new face and body moisturizer for the colder months my skin tends to feel more dry and will start to peal if I don't use a moisturizer for dry skin.
6. NO MORE SHORT NAILS time for acrylic because my nails are disgustingly short man looking hands is no bueno.

11 THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY

1. MUSIC

I love all types of music and can't live without it. Its what gets my butt moving in the morning and out dancing in the clubs on the weekend with my friends. I'll rather give up watching T.V then to be without my music.

2. SHOES

I am crazy for shoes some people collect art I rather have a collection of shoes. It does not matter to me if its an expensive name brand or from a ordinary shoe store as long as its well made and pretty. Lately I have been into Steve Madden and Nine West boots I wish I had extra cash this is a very expensive habit since I been going back to college (which makes me broke must of the time) I haven't bought any in a while no bueno.

3. MAKEUP

I have been in love with makeup since I discover this stuff in back in high school. Lost some interest after becoming wifey and a full-time mom. Until one day I discovered the gurus from you tube, then blogs after that holy crap I was hook again threw all my old shit out and started buying the good stuff from sephora (one of my fave stores) some ppl like the natural look yes I do too but its also amazing to me how much more beautiful one can make themselves with a little extra help.

4. COFFEE

I am a java queen really I'm addicted to this hot or cold I don't care its a must have at least once a day. I had tried to stop and instead drink tea because I heard it was better for you (yuck was not happening) love coffee would not give this up for anything else.

5. READING

Reading is one of my favorites pastimes, fiction stories about mystery, romance and thriller novels are what I keep my brain fed. Currently I'm reading angels and demons By Dan Brown. Today I went to borders and found my next book called trading up by Candace Bushnell (author from sex and the city) looking forward to reading this because it an continuation from one of her last characters from 4 non blonde's. My daughter bought New Moon from the Twilight serious not really my style but I'm glad she adores reading as much as I do.

6. FASHION

I love shopping for clothes and watching the fashion runway shows on TV. (I LUV 2 watch project runway) I don't always follow the latest trend but its still cool to see whats in and what is out.

7. DANCING IN THE CLUBS

This is something I look forward to every weekend, OK not every weekend cause I'm a mom now but still haven't lost the feeling of excitement of hanging out with friends getting our drink on and shaking our butts on the dance floor.

8. THE BEACH

Summer does not last in NYC so as soon as it starts to get hot I'm here at the beach loving every minute of it. I'm gonna miss going there since summer is just about over, I'm hoping for a beautiful Labor Day weekend to go one last time :*(

9. SLEEP

Yes I do and if I could I would sleep till noon.

10. SHOWERSTaking showers is so relaxing especially if I had a long stressful day. This is my time to pamper myself and if anyone knocks on the door to disturb me their asking for trouble.

I know I BEEN MIA but it's summer and NYC weather changes so quickly I have to take advantage of the beautiful weather its almost over already so sad. ;(

Hey gorgeous I hope you been enjoying the summer, I been trying to get some sun and trying to have as much fun as possible summer goes by so fast I wish it was still June :( I did this look last weekend for a house party me and my BFF through together I had so much fun the next day I had gotten a hangover WOW I haven't gotten one in a while but since I was home I took advantage of drinking more then I normally do when I'm out with friends.

My Favorite Summer Cocktails

Hey lovelies so sorry I haven't been blogging as much as usual been busy. This past week I been a very good girl not buying any makeup expect a new eyeshadow brush which was much needed. I also dye my hair sable brown I REALLY wanted to lighten it but my hair dresser advise me to grow it out instead of highlighting or worst bleach. That's what happens when you dye your hair dark brown or soft black so Be Warn ladies if your anything like me who can't be faithful to one color don't ever go to dark it sucks having to wait to get the hair color you really desire :( . I know I haven't taken any new pics of makeup looks its just been way to hot out here in NY to wear makeup. Unless I'm going out for the evening I usually don't wear much makeup during the day with the expection of tinted moisturizer, mascara and lip gloss.

On a brighter note I'm thinking about throwing a little get together this weekend with family and friends. I was thinking about which cocktails to serve at the party cause I need to start shopping to get the supplies. I thought you guys might be interest in some of my favorite summer cocktails, yes I LOVE COCKTAILS makes everyone more RELAX n Happy :)



FIRST POISON AND SO FREAKING GOOD *SANGRIA*

Ingredients:
1. bottle of Real Sangria brand wine or any favorite red wine (optional pour 1/2 cup of brandy, vodka or light rum 2 make it stronger).
5-6 strawberries
1 small cantaloupe
1 small bunch of grapes
3 small apples
2 oranges

Directions:
1) Cut all the fruit into bite-size pieces. No rind from the oranges, but you can leave the apple peels on.
2) Add fruit into large pitcher, add wine. Serve chilled.

Second Poison my favorite drink *MARGARITA*

2 oz silver tequila

1 oz premium Cointreau

1/2 oz fresh squeezed lime

lime wedge

Salt

Directions:
Place a thin layer of salt onto a small plate. Rub the rim of a cocktail glass with lime juice. Holding the stem of the glass, rotate the rim in salt. Its best if the salt is only on the outside of the glass. Fill a cocktail shaker half full with ice. Place all ingredients in a shaker. Shake well. Strain into the glass, garnish with lime wedges if you like, and serve.


Lastly a summer classic * PINA COLADA*

Ingredients (serving for 2)

3 oz light rum

4 oz Coco Lopez cream of coconut

4 oz pineapple juice

2 cup crushed ice

Directions

Pour rum, cream of coconut and pineapple juice into a blender with one cup of crushed ice. Blend until smooth, and pour into a glass. Garnish with a slice of pineapple and a maraschino cherry, and serve.

Happy Birthday 2 Me...

Yesterday was my 32 birthday I still can't believe I'm that old seems like yesterday when I was 25. That's OK I still have the heart of a 21 year old with the experience of a 32 year old lady.

I took my kids to see ICE AGE in 3D OMG this movie is the shit I had so much fun I give it two thumps up a must see even if you don't have kids I won't tell lol!

Then we ate at chili's sorry pics of yesterdays fun forgot my camera as always that's what happens when your constantly changing purse. Today I'm going to have dinner later at olive garden with my sis then head out to meet my friends at LQ'S New Yorkers know what I'm talking about, Latin Quarter Club. I did my makeup and hair a minute ago and here is my look for later.
